The smartwatch will have a 1.65 Inch IPS LCD display with 280 x 280 pixel resolution. This definitely falls short of Galaxy Gear with 1.6 Inch display and 320 x320 pixel resolution, but considering the display size, it’s far from disheartening.
There is no word on the processor yet but it will have adequate 512 MB RAM and 4 GB internal storage similar to Gear 2. More important than the hardware is the software and features. Most smartwatches we saw at MWC 2014 have a health centric theme. We will get a better idea of the possible features when Google presents its SDK for wearables next week. We can expect to see google now for sure. Google might also incorporate the fitness related features like pedometer. What features would you like to see in Nexus smartwatch?
