Lava appears to be one of the busiest India based smartphone market with handsets being launched every now and then via online retailers. The latest one to follow the line is Lava Iris 350M, which is yet another entry-level smartphone that has gone on sale through e-commerce portal HomeShop18 for Rs 3,329. Elaborating on the specifications, the Lava Iris 350M is fitted with a 3.5 inch HVGA display based on OGS technology with a resolution of 320×480 pixels. This smartphone is powered by a 1 GHz dual-core processor backed by a mere 512 MB of RAM and runs on Android 4.2 Jelly Bean OS.
There is a basic 2 MP primary camera onboard accompanied by a VGA front-facer and 512 MB of internal storage space that can be expanded using a micro SD card. Other goodies onboard are 2G, Wi-Fi, Bluetooth and a 1,200 mAh battery. While the Lava Iris 350M has been listed for sale, another handset dubbed Iris 402e has been spotted on the official Lava website. This phone houses a larger 4 inch WVGA display bearing a resolution of 800×480 pixels and it is fueled by the similar 1 GHz dual-core processor supplemented by 512 MB of RAM. On the storage and connectivity departments, the Iris 402e resembles the Iris 350M and also runs on Android 4.2 Jelly Bean.
For imaging, the Lava Iris 402e features a 3 MP primary camera with LED flash for better low light imaging and has a VGA front-facing snapper. There is a 1,450 mAh battery under its hood that helps in making video calls. The Iris 402e is believed to be hit the stores in the coming days.
