The phablet is powered by Qualcomm’s Snapdragon 800 chipset which houses a quad-core 2.2GHz processor. Being a true phablet, the device comes with a 6 inch display with a full HD resolution of 1920 x 1080 pixels, with the display being covered in Gorilla Glass 2. Apart from the large screen, the highlights of the device include the aforementioned processor and a 20MP camera that can store images in RAW uncompressed format. The unit comes BSI enabled with an f/2.4 aperture and Carl Zeiss optics. To complement the powerful processor, Nokia include 2GB of RAM which means multitasking on the device will be a breeze. The phablet will feature Microsoft’s WP8 out of the box, and will have 32GB of on-board ROM and a microSD slot that will accept cards up to 64GB in size. Among other apps, the Lumia 1520 will come with CamScanner, Flipkart, eBooks apps pre-loaded. The device will be available in Yellow, Red, Black and White, and is priced 46,999 INR.
