Camera and Internal Storage

Oppo has ensured that the device is present as a top performer in almost every department and it has taken care of the imaging department pretty well indeed. At the back of the smartphone, you get a 13MP rear camera with a Sony IMX214 sensor with 6-element lens. The aperture size stands at f/2.0 aperture and you can shoot 50MP images with the aid of the software tricks it has been loaded with. Joining it is a 5MP camera up front which has the same aperture size as its sibling and is quite the performer too. The internal storage of the Find 7 stands at 32GB and it can be further expanded by another 128GB with the help of a microSD card. The internal storage in itself is sufficient enough for regular use, let alone the expandable storage capacity so Oppo has covered its base pretty well in the storage department.

Processor and Battery

Ticking at the heart of the Find 7 is a 2.5 GHz quad core Snapdragon 801 processor teamed up with a 3GB RAM. The performance on offer will be top notch and it will run each and every thing easily that you’d want it to. And you need not worry about running multiple applications together too. Giving the Find 7 juice to run is a 3,000 mAh battery unit which will last it a day and if you run battery intensive applications, it will last you a little less than a day. It features VOOC charging which charges the device upto 75 percent in 30 minutes so it will come in quite handy when you are short on time.

Display and Features

The display unit of the Find 7 is the best one you can find in the country currently to say the least. It has a 5.5 inch display with a resolution of 2560 x 1440 pixels and gets Corning Gorilla Glass 3 protection on top of it. It translates into a pixel density of 538 ppi and it is pretty much the best one you can find as of now. It runs on Android 4.3 Jelly Bean with ColorOS on top of it. We would have loved Android 4.4 KitKat on it right out-of-the box but seeing the fact that it will be the flagship device from here on, an update can be expected in future. Its aluminium titanium chasis with a carbon fibre rear back will surely take your breath away in the build quality department.

Conclusion

The Oppo Find 7 has been launched at a price that justifies the features and is the only QHD device on sale for the time being. And it does not cost as much as the other flagships too. The only thing which will let you down is Oppo’s small after sales network. We have no complaints from the device in the first look. Let us see how it performs in our final test.
