Build Quality, Design and Form Factor
Xolo Q2000 comes with decent material in terms of build, on the front we have glass but at the back side we have plastic back cover which is not great but does not look like cheap plastic, the edges have nice gray chrome finish which does make the device look premium. Q2000 has a different type of design which does not stand out much but looks different from the ones we have seen earlier from Xolo. One major drawback is the camera unit design which seems to be bulging out from the back and prone to scratch. It feels slightly heavy at 180 grams and in terms of thickness its 9.8 mm which makes it thin but not as thin as we expected, but it can easily go inside pocket but the large size of the device can be problem at times.
Camera Performance
The rear camera is 13 MP which takes good photos in day light but the low light shots are just average but rear camera can record videos at 1080p at 30 fps. It has a front camera of 2 MP fixed focus which can do a decent good quality of video call or chat, but the front camera is fixed focus but still is good for video chat and self shots provided you have well lit environments. Display, Memory and Battery Backup
It has 5.5 inch IPS LCD capacitive touch screen with 720 x 1280 HD resolution which gives you a pixel density of 267 pixels which is definitely not high and the text does not looks very crisp but you wont notice the pixels either considering the font size and other things. The viewing angles are also good and wide and the color saturation is pretty good as well, it has support for auto brightness. The inbuilt battery of the device is around 2600 mAh which is removable and for this much display size it proves to be sufficient during day to day usage.
Software, Benchmarks and Gaming
The software UI is stock android with very little customisations which makes the user interface snappy and faster in UI transitions. Benchmarks scores are mentioned below. It can handle casual games like Temple Run Oz, Temple Run 2 and Subway Surfer quite nicely and medium graphic games like Frontline commando can also be played without much graphic lag but heavy games like MC4 and Nova 3 may get installed but they will show slight Benchmark Scores
Quadrant Standard Edition: 4019Antutu Benchmark: 13415Nenamark2: 46.1 fpsMulti Touch: 5 point
Sound, Video and Navigation
It has loudspeaker on the back side which will get blocked at times when the device placed on its back, however the loudness of the sound from the loudspeaker is loud enough but not the loudest we have heard. The video playback for HD videos is supported on the device, you can play 720p or 1080p videos without any audio or video sync issues, for unsupported video formats you can use third party apps like MX Player and BS Player. It can also be used for GPS Navigation however it does not have magnetic compass sensor, but GPS navigation on this device will still work with the help of assisted GPS. It will take around 5 minutes to lock the GPS coordinates provided you have checked the right options to make GPS work.

Conclusion and Price
Xolo Q2000 is a good value for money phone at retail price of approx. Rs. 16,000 – 15,000. It comes with quad core processor coupled with decent graphic processor which can handle both graphic intensive and casual games but it little bit heavier and larger in terms of size which make it slightly difficult to be used at times with one hand but that will happen with any other phablet device like this one.
